The is a repack of Aeronomer July complete torrent of the sims 2 he lost it due to a hard drive crash making everyone stuck at 99.9%. SO i compiled a torrent with the expansions i got form his torrent and from some i already had. all the folders are in order so just mount or burn each image and install in order

If something goes wrong, uninstall one by one and start over.
some of the later expansions are in a language other than English. As long as you choose English as your language in the installer, it seems to work ok.

A difference between this repack (August 2008) and the orig (July 2008) is this:

The original package contains some files not found in the repack. These files seem to be critical to the running of the entire set, and they are:

/Crack/Sims2EP7.exe (stuck at 96.%)
/Installation Instructions.txt (stuck at 0%)
/sims2ep7_patch1_13_0_161.exe (stuck at 95.9%)

It's pretty ironic that out of the entire 12GB the only stuff not 100% there are the actual cracks. What's up with that? Am I being paranoiac about this seeming highly suspect?

Also, is it really the case that this repack (August) requires only serials?

Maybe I'm just missing something, like these files are easily available somewhere else. Does anyone have any thoughts about all this?

/sims2ep7_patch1_13_0_161.exe (stuck at 95.9%) thats an update for the game that you install after you install all of the expansions you can get it anywhere especially the sims2 website

Hmm, I downloaded it and I installed University, but when I installed Open for Business and tried opening it, it kept saying it needed the disc in the drive. It said that for all the other ones too [except University] and I have it mounted and everything... but it just won't open. Anyone know how to fix that? Thanks.

But i ran into some trouble with the expansions. I tried installing University after installing Sims 2, and after installing, the program wanted to update my version of sims. That's where it said that it couldn't continue, without a reason.

The same happened with Nightlife.

Can anyone get me out of this misery?

I install the sims 2 program just fine but when i try to open the game to play it a messege pops up and says "please eject and re-insert the CD-ROM, select OK and restart application" well i do this and the messege just keeps popping up over and over again I have vista and i have downloaded the patch SO CAN ANYONE HELP ME????

Alright so i downloaded this, and had no (well little) problems installing up to the sims 2 : Pets, which is succesfully installed, what is wrong is when i mount Happy Holiday Stuff to Daemon Tools, there is no little pop-up asking me to run auto-run, to install the game. PlZ HELP ME

Find a different torrent I guess or find someone to put a the ones you need in a torrent.

Download Daemon Tools, just google it and you'll find it.
Then in the bottom left of your screen you should see a red thunderbolt, right click that then go to Virtual CD/DVD, Set the limit to whatever you choose, I just use 2. hover over the first drive it shows then go to mount image, Look for where the torrent was saved too, in this case for the sims open it up,
Go to the first folder, and click it, then open The Sims CD 1. It should pop up asking you for the language you want to sue.
Follow through and when it asks you to change discs go down to Daemon tools right click it, then go to the Virtual CD/DVD and unmount the disc you have then mount the disc it is asking for. Do that for all the other expansions and so that it asks you.

I've tried finding the torrents separately but I can never find good ones. I'm already downloading the games in this torrent on Vuze; I just clicked open torrent and checked the files of the games I want so it only downloads those ones. Will this not work?

Tehmulletman- I had that same problem with my Sims 2 discs...I just left it at the error message for a couple hours then came back and it worked. Hope this helps

Can someone please tell me, step by step, how to mount and all that? I tried to mount it with deamon tools, but it didn't show any files I could mount...

Unpack the files, open d-tools and select show all files, the select the one that you want (often it's the biggest the file or it's named iso or something like that) install the game, and when it done you take the crack that sometimes comes in a separately map or it is on the image which you then need to pack up to find the crack, go to the folder where the game is installed and just replace the exe file with the one from the crack folder and then start, hope it helps

sorry guys i havent been here to help you out i just my stuff back up n running and court1121 vrus..yah ok there shouldnt be any unless you got a virus on your end all my files are scanned before upload so.. i dunno wut to tell you ive read alot of post about ppl haveing problems running the game "insert disc" you need to apply a crack to the game inorder to run...if you install all of the expansions you need to apply the crack for ikea pack its pretty simple

Havin' some problems, Installed this a while ago and it has been working fine for a while, until a few days ago when I get the message when I start the game that "seasons" has been uninstalled and asks if I'd like to continue the game anyway. Why?

Also having some problems with some items in a few expansionpacks, some of them says "no pic" and I'm not able to build or play university bacause of theese "invisible" doors.

Gosh, I just installed Sims2 and when I try to run the game it asks me for the CD1 even though it's already in. That's why I believe nothing else will work if I continue installing the extensions when the basic doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what's the problem?

It's actually the same problem ninnana134 has. By the way, it did have a virus in one of the IKEA folders so when I cleaned it there was nothing left in the folder. Also I don't get why the crack isn't provided so all of us have to find it and download it separately. I really wish there was someone who actually MANAGED to install and run the game properly.
